Edge Transform Issue and Fix

New tricks for an old dog:
I had an issue with transforming an edge using the Input Mode in the Status Bar (never used before). I selected an extruded edge, snapped to polygon edge and inputed the transform. Didn't Work at all!

 

 

To cheat, I use discrete move option. But the real Fix is easy. Just change Input Mode Option to Relative. Default is Absolute. That is it. All works now :)  I know that is so basic but I never, in all my years, have used that tool. I am digging it BTW.
